Some interesting recipes, for sure, although the print is small and there are no photos to inspire. The only concern I have with the book is the claim that olive oil is higher in calories than other oils, which doesn't make any sense to me. Otherwise, it is an excellent resource. I like the idea of steaming onions instead of sauteeing in oil. Some of the recipes are based on spicy ingredients. Several call for sundried tomato powder, which you can make using a blender (I haven't tried that yet).
