I have always been a fan of Leslie Meiers books and Lucy Stone. The title was a bit misleading and wasn't overly thrilled with today's opioid problems thrown into the story. We read to escape every day life for an hour or two, not having to deal with the problem while reading. Hopefully next book will be back to Lucy finding the killer.

Never a dull moment in Tinker's cove, home of Lucy Stone and her family! This cosy mystery series has been a staple in my mystery reading for many years.

I love the fun Lucy Stone mysteries, but the mystery is small and not hard to figure out. The author takes up most of the book telling us about drug problems in small towns. Along with what it means to be an American. All of which we can hear on our nightly news.
I don't recommend this book and was very disappointed in the authors use of her charaters.
