Really like the two leads and their storyline, but I don’t buy the solving of the mysteries without any real hard evidence as in the Lula story.

Love the books and the tv series is great. The lead actors are excellent. Looking forward to Lethal White.

I've listened to all of the Strike series on audiobooks. The casting for this series was spot on for Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacourt. Although the stories on the DVD have to be shortened for time allowed for viewing, the stories are very true to the books. I thoroughly enjoyed the DVD!! And I can't wait for "Lethal White" to be filmed and released.

EXCELLENT SERIES

If you like the british detective series you will enjoy this.
Private detective with interesting cases.
The main character we have seen in other BBC series.

This guy look so much like George Clooney. I love Brit mysteries but the over drinking and smoking is a turn off here.

It's been long enough ago that I read these three so no interference to watching the film. I liked this very much, felt the visualization was well done, acting good, tension was there for me. Bonus was recognizing landmarks, tube stations:)

The casting director has chosen actors who portray the main characters with perfection.
Cormoron is unconventionally handsome and Robin is strong yet vulnerable. The acting is superb. The only downside with filming these popular novels - any popular novels - you kind of eliminate the surprise factor. The episodes are very true (although condensed) to the source material so if you have read the novels then the whodunnit portion won't make you gasp. Still excellent and well worth the time.

I don't know how it compares to the books, because I haven't read them, but this series is really good. If you're looking for something to console you now that Sherlock seems to be kaput, this might be for you.

Very good adaptation of the Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling) novels. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll write additional episodes not necessarily based on the novels. Otherwise we'll have to wait a year or more for each new series.
