I think I enjoyed this book more than other people who have commented. Perhaps people are just missing Vince Flynn, who I agree was a fantastic writer. However, the Kyle of the Mitch Rapp series is true to the character and the Rapp series. I found this to be an enjoyable book and a good read.

Not as expected, but Mitch Rapp's profile elucidated authority. Yet, a detailed description of his overt looks (apart from his eyes and hair) had been missed. The novel focused primarily on the Rickman files and although the descriptions of Irene Kennedy, Coleman and the entire team had been impressive, the initial failed mission had been disconcerting. Involving the Frenchman, Louis Gould hadn't been a wise approach for starters; and neither had been the involvement of the Stan Hurley considering his ill health.

Love Mitch Rapp. Loved the book. Keep writing them.

Disappointing awkwardly facilitated beginning - multiple components/players not developed.

Almost slapstick comic conclusion - story line remained on basic theme, but approaching totally implausible - even for our man Mitch Rapp.

Was a pain reading conclusion. Sorry... Didn't like it...

I've never read Vince Flynn before and didn't realize that this book wasn't written by him. The book was very boring and I couldn't get past page 49. Whoever wrote this book doesn't know how to grab a reader's attention. Since I bought this book I just threw it in the garbage.

I like the Mitch Rapp character but despite the constant action in the book, the plot was very thin and the writing was not the best

There was a decent book in there somewhere but I didn't find it-let Flynn die and don't screw up his work with ghost writing.

I've struggled to read this book. Flynn's books were always engaging and captivated me from the first page turn. This has been an exercise in endurance, one where the book wins as I will not finish it. I'm so very disappointed in the writing, the editing and most of all, the characters.

Slow, boring. Lots of political intrigue, but low on action. I'm being generous w/ 3 *'s.
